The Challenge

Staying abreast of the nation’s climate policy landscape poses a significant challenge. Our user experience research revealed that high-level policy advisors commonly track multiple websites and rely on personal networks and records. Recognizing this pressing challenge, the U.S. Climate Alliance Secretariat set out to develop a product to make climate policy information readily accessible to everyone.

The Solution

The Bridge Studio spearheaded the user experience research and design of data.usclimatealliance.org, a web-based application. This tool enables advanced searching across hundreds of climate policies. For Alliance members, dedicated landing pages provide a quick summary of what policies each state or territory has passed, while comprehensive policy detail pages offer vital information including related policies, a history of actions, and links to the actual policy language.
